The Newcombe Family

Carrie and Jeff are not only an amazing couple but also devoted parents to their three remarkable daughters: Makayla, Kelsi, and Abby. Their goal was to capture this precious moment with their entire family, bringing together generations, including Jeff's parents, Ken and Connie, as well as his brother Todd. Adding even more love and happiness to the occasion was Ryan, Kelsi’s husband, who recently joined the family as a newlywed. I was truly delighted to have the opportunity to highlight their blossoming romance with some intimate and romantic shots that conveyed their deep connection.

This photo session was truly special, marking one of my final shoots in the beautiful coastal town of Cannon Beach before relocating to Eugene, OR with my family. After a long and fulfilling day of photographing, a sense of fatigue was beginning to settle in. However, from the very moment I met the Newcombe family, their warmth and genuine smiles instantly renewed my energy and enthusiasm. Their positive spirit radiated throughout the entire session, making it a joyful and unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

Our session featured a wide variety of compositions—ranging from full group portraits, subgroups, to special candid moments shared between grandparents, uncle, and grandchildren. Cannon Beach holds decades of treasured memories for the Newcombe family, which made these photographs even more meaningful and significant. It was a genuine honor to capture their love, unity, and connection in such a magical and timeless setting.
