Photographing my very first wedding in Eugene, Oregon was an experience I had been eagerly anticipating, and it did not disappoint. Downtown Eugene carries a unique charm, especially in the fall when the streets are lined with warm, vibrant colors that create a naturally beautiful backdrop. I set out to capture not just the moments of the day, but the essence of the city itself—the golden leaves, the inviting sidewalks, and the quiet movement of passing cars. Amanda and her close-knit group began their day at The Gordon Hotel before walking together to the nearby ceremony, a simple yet perfect choice that allowed us to take in the scenery. That crisp Monday morning, cool but comfortable, set the tone for a day that felt both refreshing and full of warmth.
