Lora and Cain chose Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach for their maternity photo session, opting for the magical hour of sunrise. The early start proved rewarding; I left Astoria at 4:00 am and arrived just after 5:00 am to serene, empty shores and streets. With no crowds to contend with, we enjoyed the peaceful beauty of the beach and its surroundings, creating the perfect backdrop for their special moment.

Capturing this milestone for Lora and Cain, who are expecting their first child, was a true joy. The soft light of dawn beautifully illuminated their anticipation and love, making for stunning images. This early morning shoot not only fulfilled my desire to photograph at Haystack Rock without the hustle of others but also allowed me to document a beautiful chapter in their lives.
