There’s something quietly magical about Maui on an early Sunday morning—the stillness, the golden light, and that gentle freshness in the air before the day truly begins. That’s when I had the joy of photographing Tobie for her senior portraits, and the morning couldn’t have been more perfect. Tobie looked radiant in her elegant aloha dress from Pulelehua Boutique—pure Maui magic woven into every vibrant detail. A perfect blend of grace, color, and island spirit.

Tobie has stood in front of my camera before, and over the years, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing her grow into such a warm, kind, and confident young woman. When she reached out for her senior session, I felt deeply honored—not only because of the bond we’ve built, but also because this session marked my very first shoot since returning home to Maui.

We wandered along Market Street in Wailuku, each corner carrying a familiar story from Tobie’s childhood. It felt like coming full circle—for both of us.
