It’s always refreshing to photograph a family session after back-to-back weddings and nonstop editing. Family sessions allow me to slow down and truly go with the flow. Mahalo plenty to the Smith family for waking up extra early that morning to share this special time.

There’s something truly magical about capturing moments in the soft, golden morning light—the fresh colors of sunrise bringing a peaceful and renewed energy. Baby Beach in Lahaina, Maui, is my preferred location for early morning sessions because it perfectly complements that serene, refreshing vibe.

This session was a wonderful reminder of the simple joy and connection that family photography brings.
