The best part of photographing a multi‑family session is the energy—every generation brings their own flavor, their own inside jokes, their own version of “this is who we are.” This session at Poolenalena Beach was exactly that kind of magic. We pulled up before sunrise, only to find the gate to the parking lot still closed. But honestly, that ended up being the perfect start. The moment it opened, we rolled in, and for the entire hour we were the only people on the beach. Just us, the soft morning light, and a whole crew of personalities ready to shine. What I loved most was how each group brought something different: the silliness, the sweetness, the quiet moments, the loud ones, the generational connections that only happen when everyone shows up together. In just one hour, we captured a whole spectrum of personalities and relationships.
