Fall season in Oregon is absolutely breathtaking, and Dorris Ranch in Springfield is a true hidden gem. On a recent visit with my family, I instantly recognized it as the perfect backdrop for couple and family portraits. The rich autumn hues blend effortlessly with the natural landscape, creating an ambiance that feels both warm and vibrant.

Michaella and Jason, who live just an hour from Dorris Ranch, were the ideal subjects to bring this vision to life. Having had the honor of photographing Michaella over the years—from her hula dance days in Maui competitions to their engagement shoot on the island, and eventually their wedding here in Oregon—our connection makes these sessions even more special.
